Online Therapy: Meet with your therapist from almost anywhere!

Online counseling offers you the opportunity to make dynamic changes in your life without leaving the privacy of your own home. Whether it’s because you live in a rural area, are unable to travel or travel frequently, or simply feel more comfortable in your own environment, online therapy provides a comparable alternative to in-office sessions. We offer live face-to-face sessions, chat sessions, and e-mail correspondence. You can choose to utilize a specific method or any combination of the three.

While online counseling does not provide the same experience as traditional face-to face sessions, some find it to be more helpful in many ways. Here are a few more potential advantages to online counseling sessions:

•You can engage in therapy even if you live at a distance from our office.

•You don’t have to fight traffic or squeeze in another off-site meeting.

•If you travel often or your free time is limited, you can continue your sessions from any location (due to licensure mandates in the State of California, some restrictions may apply).

•You can reach out to your therapist and send emails at anytime of the day or night.

•Your email and/or chat correspondence provides you with a written record of your session(s) and you can read the therapist's responses as often as is helpful to you.

•You can take as much time as needed to compose your emails.

•You can choose a single consultation or ongoing therapy.

•Online therapy is generally more affordable than face-to-face therapy.

•Online therapy can be less intimidating and make it easier to share your story. Many of our clients have made significant improvements in just a few sessions because they feel more comfortable sharing difficult material than they would in a face-to-face session.
